Golden Chariot, the luxury train owned by Karnataka Tourism (KSTDC) commenced operations in 2008 and has been promoting various sites of tourist interest in Karnataka and other neighboring states. The train features 10 guest carriages, 72 pax capacity, two fine dining restaurants with seating capacity of 36 in each, Bar, Spa, Business Center and a Mini Gymnasium.
